It's Tough to be a Teen!

Discussions of the stressors facing today’s teens and this issues in today’s schools

On Thursday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m., the Voices and Choices program, a community service by a collaborative group of Jewish agencies, will present a panel discussion for teens and parents that will address the issue of how tough it is to be a teen. Grades, bullies, dating, self image and the latest threat on the street, prescription drugs, will be covered in an engaging discussion by professionals.

On Thursday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m., as a follow up to Voices and Choices, the JCC will present a screening of Race to Nowhere, a documentary that represents the centerpiece of a national call to mobilize families, educators and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how best to prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens.
